  • Any relevant referral or plan details you have available

What to Expect

Your First Appointment

Not sure what to expect? Here’s how the process works from your first call to your first session.

01

Get in Touch

Call us or send an email with your details. Our team will ask a few questions to understand what you need, confirm your funding pathway, and find the right clinician for you.

02

We Confirm Your Appointment

We’ll schedule a time that suits you — at our clinic for physiotherapy and exercise physiology, or in your home for occupational therapy. You’ll receive a confirmation with everything you need to know before your visit.

03

Your First Session

Your clinician will conduct an initial assessment, discuss your goals, and develop a personalised therapy plan. We’ll also explain how your funding works and what ongoing support looks like.

For Health Professionals

Referring a Patient?

We accept referrals from GPs, specialists, support coordinators, case managers, and other health professionals. You can send referrals by email or phone, and we’ll take care of the rest — including contacting the patient, confirming funding, and scheduling their first appointment.

Common Questions

Contact FAQs

Do I need a referral to book?

It depends on your funding. NDIS participants can self-refer or be referred by a support coordinator. DVA clients need a referral from their GP. Medicare patients require a GP care plan (also called an Enhanced Primary Care plan). If you’re paying privately, no referral is needed — just get in touch and we’ll book you in.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

We do our best to see new clients within one to two weeks of first contact. Wait times can vary depending on the service and your location. If your needs are urgent, let us know when you call and we’ll prioritise accordingly.

Can you come to my home?

Our occupational therapy services are provided as mobile home visits across the Perth metropolitan area. Home visits are particularly valuable for home assessments, people with limited mobility, and clients who prefer the comfort of their own environment. Physiotherapy and exercise physiology services are provided in our clinic in Attadale.

What funding do you accept?

We accept NDIS (self-managed, plan-managed, and NDIA-managed), Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), Support at Home (formerly Home Care Packages), Medicare (via GP care plans), and private payment. If you’re unsure which funding pathway applies to you, our team can help you figure it out — just ask when you get in touch.
