NDIS Services
As an NDIS non-registered provider, Nexus Health Group supports self-managed and plan-managed participants with physiotherapy, exercise physiology, and occupational therapy. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to deliver goal-aligned therapy that helps you build capacity, improve daily function, and achieve meaningful outcomes under your NDIS plan.
Important: NDIS Provider Status
Nexus Health Group is an NDIS Non-Registered Provider. This means we can support self-managed and plan-managed participants, but not NDIA-managed participants. If you’re unsure about your management type, check with your support coordinator or plan manager, or contact us and we’ll help you find out.
Why Choose Us
Why NDIS Participants Choose Nexus
Collaborative Care
Our physios, OTs, and exercise physiologists work as a connected team — sharing insights and coordinating your care so you don’t have to repeat yourself or manage multiple providers separately.
Goal-Aligned Therapy
Every session is designed to work toward your NDIS plan goals. We track your progress, provide regular reporting, and ensure your funding is being used effectively to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Individualised Support
No two participants are the same. We take the time to understand your unique circumstances, preferences, and aspirations — then build a therapy plan that reflects what matters to you, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Evidence-Based Practice
All of our clinicians use current, evidence-based approaches to ensure you’re receiving the most effective treatment. We stay up to date with best practice and apply it to every session.
NDIS Services Available
All three of our disciplines are available under your NDIS plan, and can be accessed individually or as part of a coordinated multidisciplinary program.
Physiotherapy
Movement and pain management, injury rehabilitation, neurological physiotherapy, mobility improvement, and hydrotherapy. Our physios help NDIS participants improve physical function, manage pain, and increase independence with movement.
Exercise Physiology
Personalised exercise programs for strength, fitness, chronic disease management, and community participation. Our EPs design safe, structured programs that build capacity over time and support long-term health and wellbeing.
Occupational Therapy
Functional capacity assessments, home modifications, assistive technology prescriptions, daily living support, transfer assessments, and 24-hour postural care. Our OTs help participants engage more fully in the activities and environments that matter to them.
Getting Started
How NDIS Services Work at Nexus
Getting started is simple. Whether you’re referred by a support coordinator or reach out directly, we’ll guide you through every step of the process.
01
Get in Touch
You, your support coordinator, or your plan manager contacts us to discuss your needs, goals, and NDIS plan details. We’ll confirm your management type and explain what services are available to you.
02
Service Agreement & Assessment
We set up a service agreement outlining the services, costs, and cancellation policy. Then we schedule your initial assessment, where your clinician will get to know you and begin building your therapy plan.
03
Goal-Aligned Therapy & Reporting
Ongoing therapy sessions aligned with your NDIS goals, with regular progress reports that can be shared with your support coordinator or planner. We also provide evidence and recommendations to support your plan reviews.
Common Questions
NDIS FAQs
Can I use Nexus if I’m NDIA-managed?
Unfortunately, as a non-registered provider, we can only support self-managed or plan-managed participants. If you’re NDIA-managed and would like to access our services, you may be able to request a change to plan management at your next plan review. We’re happy to discuss your options if you’re unsure.
What NDIS categories do your services fall under?
Our services typically fall under Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living (CB Daily Activity). Occupational therapy services may also be funded under Assistive Technology and Home Modifications categories. If you’re unsure whether your plan includes the right categories, contact us and we can review your plan with you.
Do you provide reports for NDIS plan reviews?
Yes. We provide detailed progress reports that document your achievements, current functional level, and recommendations for ongoing support. These reports are designed to support your plan review and help ensure your next plan reflects your actual needs. We can also provide evidence letters for access requests and change-of-circumstances reviews.
Can I see multiple disciplines under the same NDIS plan?
Yes. One of the key advantages of working with Nexus is that you can access physiotherapy, exercise physiology, and occupational therapy all under the same service agreement. Our team collaborates closely, which means better-coordinated care, less duplication, and more efficient use of your NDIS funding.
