Our Physiotherapy Services

Chronic Pain Management

Living with persistent pain can be exhausting and limiting. We use a combination of education, gentle progressive exercise, hands-on therapy and movement retraining to help you understand your pain, reduce its impact, and gradually return to the activities you enjoy.

Pre-Operative Management

Preparing your body for surgery can significantly improve post-operative outcomes. We work with you before your procedure to strengthen key muscle groups, improve range of motion and set realistic recovery expectations.

Post-Operative Rehabilitation

After surgery, your body needs structured rehabilitation to regain strength, movement and function. We guide you through each stage of recovery with a progressive treatment plan tailored to your surgeon’s protocols and your personal goals.

Dry Needling

Fine, sterile needles are inserted into myofascial trigger points to release tension, reduce pain and improve tissue function. Dry needling is often used alongside manual therapy and exercise for faster results.

Movement Analysis

We assess how your body moves during functional tasks and sport-specific activities to identify biomechanical inefficiencies, muscle imbalances and movement patterns that may be contributing to your pain or limiting your performance.

Neurological Physiotherapy

Specialised rehabilitation for people living with neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and spinal cord injuries. We focus on improving mobility, balance and functional independence.

Common Questions

Physiotherapy FAQs

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. You can book directly with us without a referral. However, if you’re accessing services through Medicare, DVA or NDIS, a referral or plan may be required. Our team can guide you through the process.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring any relevant imaging (X-rays, MRI scans), referral letters, a list of current medications, and wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the area being treated.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your condition, its severity, and how your body responds to treatment. After your initial assessment, your physiotherapist will give you a clear indication of the expected treatment timeline and number of sessions.

Is physiotherapy covered by Medicare?

Yes. If you have a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan from your GP, Medicare provides a rebate for up to 5 allied health sessions per calendar year. These sessions can be split across different disciplines.

Do you treat all age groups?

Yes. Our physiotherapists work with children, adults and older adults. We tailor our approach to each individual’s age, condition and goals.
